Dr. Gazaway is a native Georgian, and was graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University. He then attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta, and completed his general surgical residency in Birmingham , Alabama, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center. He is the medical director of the Hebron Community Health Center, a free medical clinic located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Dr. Gazaway was recently selected as a regional assessment site for the Georgia High School Association's new weight management program. He and his wife, Mary Ellis, have six children.
